The January window is approaching and our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are excited with one of the latest rumours flying about.
Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is certainly one sought after youngster this year, with over 17 clubs reportedly scouting him from all over Europe and our regulars think, given the links with Brendan Rodgers, you can imagine that it puts the Reds in a better position than most when it comes to securing the signature.
Liverpool’s attacking options at the moment are mouth watering to say the least and to add this addition would make the Anfield giants a feared entity across the board.
Many of our punters believe that Liverpool need to sort their defence out first more than adding to their attack but if the opportunity arises to grab one of the most exciting young strikers in the game comes around, it’s something that can’t be passed up.
With that in mind, our landlord thinks with the emergence of World Cup star Rhian Brewster, there’s at least three players in the ranks that they could use to sweeten the deal…
Danny Ings

The Liverpool striker who’s had his fair share of injuries during his time at Anfield and, although his few games played have generated a good goal scoring return, unfortunately for Ings, his time hasn’t worked out as well as he had hoped.
He may find his level at Celtic and he seems the right type of player to score plenty a goal in in the Scottish league. Indeed, we’ve seen the likes of Scott Sinclair rediscover his very best form north of the border and perhaps Ings could do the very same.
Dom Solanke

The England man is surely looking at a loan deal out to gain vital first team experience since his move from Chelsea in the summer. Indeed, a move up to the Scottish champions under Reds ex-boss Rodgers’ guidance would be hugely beneficial all round, having already edged out one striker at the club Solanke, will be looking at making more moves to impress Klopp.
Clearly a huge talent, the idea of sending him on loan up there is surely a tempting one.
