Manchester United are currently undergoing a Jose Mourinho inspired revolution.
A host of new stars are on their way in whilst several have already been signed, and there will no doubt be some departures in the coming weeks as well.
The self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ is building a very talented squad with his new club, and with that will no doubt come an excellent starting eleven as the new boss looks to solidify himself at his new club.
The ultimate goal for the 53-year old will no doubt be The Red Devils’ ultimate return to the top of the Premier League; and you would be hard pressed to find someone that would be against the world renowned Portuguese manager.
Picking a starting eleven will be a real challenge; but only because of the huge wealth of talent that he has at his disposal.
With that, here is one example of a FRIGHTENING eleven Jose could pick to lead his side to Premier League glory next season.
Goalkeeper – David De Gea

David De Gea has been one of the club’s standout players in recent years, and whilst last year was not his best – there is no doubting the Spaniard’s quality.
The stoic Spanish stopper is an absolute rock between the sticks, and is without doubt one of the best goalkeepers in world football.
It is essential that Manchester United not only make sure the 25-year old remains at the club this summer, but also secure his long term future and make sure that he remains at the club going forward.
Right Back – Fabinho

Question marks have been raised regarding the future of Matteo Darmian, and it seems that Jose Mourinho is set to raid Monaco for their young Brazilian fullback Fabinho.
The club have been linked with a £20 million move, and whilst the Italian would find himself unlucky to be on the bench next season – Fabinho would be a very good replacement.
Mourinho gave Fabinho his debut when at Real Madrid, and the pacy Brazilian has gone from strength to strength during his subsequent move to AS Monaco.
Solid defensively, whilst also comfortable going forward – Fabinho is the perfect full back.
Centre Back – Eric Bailly

Jose Mourinho forked out £30m for new signing Eric Bailly, so there is no doubting that the new Manchester United boss rates him.
He has utilised him frequently throughout pre season, so that will no doubt continue into the start of the new season.
The United defence was a bit rocky at points last season, and he should come in and solidify it going forward.
Centre Back – Chris Smalling

Last year was a real coming of age for Chris Smalling, with the defender finally starting to show the quality that was expected of him a few years ago.
He is not yet the finished article, but with a new look defence around him he will no doubt take that next step and solidify himself as one of England’s top central defenders.
Left back – Luke Shaw

A horrific leg injury ended Luke Shaw’s 2015/16 season; but he will be back for next season.
All football fans have been looking forward to Shaw’s return, with the young left back a real future talent for England – and next year will no doubt be the year that he regains his spot in the first team.
He has the world at his feet – and he is a surefire starter under Jose Mourinho.
LM – Anthony Martial

On the other side of that midfield will no doubt continue to be Anthony Martial.
Although he is a natural number 9, Martial performed excellently last season on the wing, and it seems likely that he will continue in that role going into 2016/17, especially with the striking options that United will have.
He will have to add a stronger work ethic to be able to play there under Mourinho, but if he can do that he will become a perfect winger for United going forward.
CM – Paul Pogba

The worst kept secret in world football – is this the year that the elusive Paul Pogba finally makes his journey back to the Premier League?
Manchester United are reportedly very interested in the midfielder, and are set to launch a world record bid to capture the young starlet.
If they do manage to capture him; what a signing he would be.
He would bring a real quality to the Untied midfield, with the midfielder the most sought after player in the world.
CM – Morgan Schneiderlin

Morgan Schneiderlin has not had the best start to his Manchester United career, but under Jose Mourinho he could flourish.
He was an absolute rock in the middle of the park for Southampton, able to play balls forward whilst also helping to cover his defensive line.
He played more of a bit part role for United last year, but under Mourinho we expect that to change. He is perfectly suited to Mourinho’s style of play, and will no doubt kick on next season.
RM – Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Manchester United signed Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund for a pretty hefty fee, and judging by his performances so far in pre-season – the price looks looks like a real bargain.
He has performed excellently in his opening minutes, and United will no doubt be hoping that that continues going into next season.
United have been in need of a natural winger for a few years, and he looks like the perfect man to fill that gap.
Striker – Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had been linked with a move to United for months, and Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern were not surprised when the deal was made official.
Everyone knows what Ibrahimovic can do; a prolific goal scorer with a play style seemingly purpose build for the Premier League.
He will no doubt bag a ridiculous number of goals next year, and could well be the man to fire United back to the top of the table.
Striker – Wayne Rooney
Many fans here in the Tavern were expected Wayne Rooney to take a bit more of a back seat next year, but Jose Mourinho’s comments seem to reject that sentiment. He has suggested that Rooney will be a key part of the team next year; and his place in the first team will be as a striker.
As the team captain you would expect him to start weekly, and with Ibrahimovic alongside him we could see a reinvigorated Rooney.
If both Rooney and the superstar Swede can get into a good run of form next year; the results could be terrifying.
