Leeds fans were extremely disappointed by Jack Harrison’s performance against Swansea

There were plenty of positives for Leeds United to take away from their midweek fixture against Swansea after they twice came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

Marcelo Bielsa’s opening to life in English football has been an exceptionally promising one so far, and his progress continued last night as Leeds overcame a pre-match setback to take a valuable point against one of the best sides in the division.

The supporters were delighted with the result on an evening which could have seen them leave south Wales with nothing to show for their efforts if Bersant Celina had netted a late opportunity to snatch all 3 points.

However, Leeds also had a half chance to clinch a huge victory in the dying embers of the game as Jack Harrison failed to get a shot away as he bore down on the Swansea goal before he was eventually dispossessed.

Harrison was brought on for Ezgjan Alioski at half-time as Bielsa looked to shake things up in attack, but his exemplary work-rate and desire to get on the ball in dangerous positions did not equate to a quality performance.

Indeed, the 21-year-old was lacking the sharpness of the players around him and he was wasteful in possession throughout. In response to his performance, plenty of Leeds supporters took to Twitter to slate his impact and suggest a huge improvement is needed.

Having arrived from a reputable club of Manchester City’s standing, it’s no surprise the supporters are hoping for high standards from Harrison this season, so he will certainly need to improve on his showing last night if he wishes to win over the supporters in the coming months.

Here’s what the Leeds fans on Twitter have had to say about Harrison’s performance against Swansea…
