Portsmouth will be looking to return to winning ways in League One when they meet AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
Pompey head to Kingsmeadow on the back of their first defeat of the season, having been undone at home by Gillingham.
Kenny Jackett’s side still remain at the summit of the table, three points clear of Peterborough United, but he will want to ensure his side takes all three points against a struggling Dons side.
David Wheeler, who is currently on loan from Queens Park Rangers, will be absent with an ankle injury he picked up during the game against the Gills last weekend.
Another loanee, Andre Green, is still unavailable to be considered for selection as the Aston Villa man continues to work hard to recover from a persistent knee issue.
Ronan Curtis is away with the Republic of Ireland squad for the UEFA Nations League after impressing for the League One outfit and his absence will be sorely missed.
Portsmouth will want to ensure that their defeat to Gillingham was a one-off and will look to take the game to Wimbledon.
The home side have struggled to pick up results and Jackett will want to ensure his side make the most of their poor record to try and keep their three-point gap at the top of the table.
However, Curtis’ absence could be a big blow for the team, as the attacker has been instrumental for Pompey this season, having netted six times and recorded a further five assists in his 10 matches already.
