Our resident Manchester United supporters by the bar believe the club are back on track and ready to challenge for the Premier League this season.

Jose Mourinho’s side finished a lowly 6th place last campaign – a massive 24 points off league champions Chelsea.

After securing Romelu Lukaku, many United fans believe the £75 million man will turn last season’s draws into this season’s wins.

The Red Devils are also tracking Inter forward Ivan Perisic. The former Borussia Dortmund forward is expected to be free to join Mourinho’s side if United cough up the asking price.

Perisic has impressed in Serie A over the past two years and Inter are reluctant to lose him unless a suitable offer, believed to be close to £50million, is on the table.

The England centre-half had a solid season in the United shirt last term, but was often rotated amongst his fellow defenders.

There have been doubts cast over his career at Old Trafford as many believed the arrival of Victor Lindelof this summer could be the end of the road for him.

Injuries have been reoccurring setbacks for Jones and it’s now time United find a leader, with the former Blackburn Rovers man having struggled to embark on the upward trajectory prophesied for him by Sir Alex Ferguson.

 Marouane Fellaini

Many Manchester United fans are bemused as to how Marouane Fellaini has survived this long into the summer still as a United player.

It appears Jose Mourinho has a soft spot for the big haired Belgian. But in truth, Fellaini has never really got over with the Old Trafford faithful and is a constant reminder to the nightmare appointment of David Moyes.
