Tottenham fans have clear message for Llorente following Juventus admission

Tottenham supporters have been in high spirits in the Transfer Tavern in the last few days after seeing their team get the better of bitter rivals Arsenal in the North London derby on Saturday, thus moving seven points clear of the Gunners in the Premier League table.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into their clash with Arsene Wenger’s side off the back of beating Manchester United and drawing with Liverpool in their preceding two league encounters, which extended their unbeaten league run to eight matches. And they made it nine at Wembley on Saturday as Harry Kane’s header four minutes after the break was enough to edge the Gunners, thus moving Spurs seven points clear of their bitter rivals in the race for a top four finish.

Thus, there have been many buoyant Tottenham fans in the Tavern in recent times, several of whom are eagerly anticipating their side’s trip to Juventus on Tuesday for the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash.

And, ahead of that match, recent comments have emerged from Spurs striker Fernando Llorente admitting that he would ‘love to return’ to the Serie A champions in the future, having scored 27 goals in 92 games for the club in a successful spell between 2013 and 2015.

And given his struggles at Spurs since moving there during the summer, his future at the North London outfit could well be in doubt following these revelations, in news which has stimulated quite a response from Tottenham fans on Twitter.

And they are clearly quite happy for the striker to make the move to Turin…
