Tottenham were able to, thankfully, pick up a win over the weekend after several weeks of frustration in North London. The Lilywhites started the season well, but a bit of a poor run of results in September put them in a tough spot. Pochettino has evidently moved quickly to stop the rot, though.
Provided that they can continue to pick up points over the coming weeks, Spurs can now begin to look ahead once again, and they’ve seemingly got the January transfer window, or perhaps next summer, in mind.
Milinkovic-Savic got himself on the scoresheet and got an assist, so the onlookers will no doubt have been impressed. An attacking midfielder by trade, he’s very capable with the ball at his feet, as evidenced by the quality that he offered going forward. He’s fairly unique, though, in that he’s a 6ft3 physical and robust midfielder, making him an ideal choice in the Premier League.
Naturally, Tottenham fans have been quick to respond to the news online, and it’s fair to say that he’s generating a lot of excitement. He impressed during the World Cup, and now he’s continuing that form in Serie A. Many Tottenham fans would love to see him move to the club.
