Some Spurs fans were in disbelief at Harry Kane’s wonder strike from the half-way line in a pre-season friendly against Juventus.
The goal, which incredibly looped the keeper before going in, came in added time at the end of the game as the Lilywhites came from 2-1 down to beat the Serie A champions 3-2 in the International Champions Cup.
And it was extra special for the north London outfit’s supporters given the man in the net was former Arsenal man Wojciech Szczęsny, who misread the flight of the ball as the England forward brilliantly found the back of the net.
Kane struggled with an ankle injury in the second half of last season but still managed an impressive 24 goals in 40 games for the Champions League finalists.
And several Spurs supporters are now getting very excited at the thought of both Spurs and Kane’s performances in the upcoming campaign where they hope the side can push on and mount a more serious challenge to close the gap to Manchester City and Liverpool.
