Tottenham were back in action yesterday and after losing three matches on the bounce before they beat Brighton last weekend they had the chance to make it three straight wins at the John Smith Stadium. Mauricio Pochettino’s side disappoint and it was again Paulo Gazzaniga that impressed plenty of the watching Lilywhites.
Who was your @eToro Man of the Match today?#COYS

There were plenty of stand out performers in Yorkshire yesterday. Harry Kane scored both goals in the first half to give the club the 2-0 win, Danny Rose was a constant thorn in David Wagner’s team’s side and then was the brilliance at the back from both Davinson Sanchez and Paulo Gazzaniga. The fans are likely to vote Kane as the man of the match but plenty of fans can’t help but want to give Gazzaniga yet another man of the match award.
The Argentine might well have won himself a promotion in Pochettino’s side as he looks to have usurped Michel Vorm as the club’s official number two goalkeeper. Hugo Lloris is still the standout number one but in his absence, the supporters are delighted to be able to get behind Gazzaniga in the way they have. The 26-year-old stepped up to the plate against Brighton before being the penalty hero in the week against Watford and now it looks like he’s continued his form and the fans are loving watching him in action.

The Lilywhites loved seeing Gazzaniga continue his impressive form between the sticks and they’ll be keen for him to show that what he’s showing is his class and not just a temporary purple patch.
