Tottenham fans on Twitter have been given some brilliant news recently. Not only have the club made it to this Saturday’s Champions League final, but they could also be set to sign a real footballer in this transfer window, as Nabil Djellit, a France Footballer journalist, has claimed that Spurs are still pushing for Tanguy Ndombele.

The Lilywhites are well aware that they need some reinforcements in midfield. Mousa Dembele left them back in January and the likes of Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama and Harry Winks have all massively struggled with injuries this season. That leaves just Moussa Sissoko who has pretty much single-handedly carried the club’s midfield, and Ndombele would be his perfect partner.
The Frenchman has been incredible from Lyon since day one, and now there are a lot of Tottenham fans are all desperate to see him continue that amazing form for them. Whoever Mauricio Pochettino does move to sign this summer he will 100% have to reinforce his midfield, and Ndombele would be absolutely perfect for the North London club, a move which will become even more attractive to Ndombele if the Lilywhites become European champions.

The Lilywhites are so desperate to get Ndombele to sign up this summer and will hope to look back on this summer as one where they became European champions and signed a whole new midfield force.
