Tottenham fans everywhere have been worrying about Heung-Min Son. The South Korean winger has played a whopping 19 times for his country in 2018 and it seems pretty clear that he’s jaded at the moment. However, an article from Yonhap News claims that Son is now done with South Korea for 2018 as they’ve reached an agreement with Tottenham for him to miss the November matches.

Son’s 18 games for his country in 2018 is a huge amount. Add that to the 35 games he’s played so far this year for his club and it’s pretty clear as to why the 26-year-old attacker is struggling to look sharp. We haven’t even reached the end of October and Son’s clocked up over 50 games, with at least another 12 to come for him with Tottenham between now and the end of December.
The two-week break he will get in November will come as a huge relief for the fans but after his inclusion in the Asian Games back in August and September it’s only what the winger deserves. Son is one of Mauricio Pochettino’s most influential players and his goal contribution of 18 goals and 11 assists last season speak for themselves. Having the South Korean fit and firing is always a huge boost to The Lilywhites are now that he has a chance to get himself sharp in November, the fans will be delighted.
