Tottenham’s pursuit of Paulo Dybala was one of transfer deadline day’s biggest stories as the English window closed, but as Spurs didn’t get their man they could be set to go back in for the Argentine in January, and Gianluca Di Marzio has given them some hope.
Paris Saint-Germain have yet to give an indication they will pursue #thfc target Paulo Dybala and it is increasingly likely that he will remain at Juventus this summer. | @DiMarzio pic.twitter.com/5609PrpwNR

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham had agreed on a fee for Dybala and were very close to signing the Juventus man. Had the English window continued and closed at the same time as the European one, Dybala could have become a Tottenham player, but it wasn’t to be.
The fear was that PSG would be set to sign the Juventus man should they lose Neymar, but the update from Di Marzio claims that Juve are yet to receive a concrete offer from the French side for the player, and with time running out for Thomas Tuchel’s side to attempt to sign the player, it looks as if Spurs fans are already eyeing another potential pursuit of the attacker in January.
