A lot of Tottenham fans have been toying with the idea of making a summer move for David Brooks, and it’s hard to blame them given the youngsters form this season. The 21-year-old Welsh international left Sheffield United for Bournemouth over the summer, and now he could move again with Tottenham interested in his services.

The Daily Mail is the source behind this story, and whilst £50 million may sound like an awful lot of money, the Lilywhites only have to look as far as Dele Alli as to why investing in homegrown talent is the way forward. Thye young Cherries’ star has scored six times and assisted four in the Premier League this season and he looks like a real big game player.
The youngster scored and got an assist as the Cherries smashed Chelsea 4-0 last week, and at the moment it looks like every good performance will be adding value onto the 21-year-old’s price tag. There aren’t many young versatile attackers out there who are performing as consistently as Brooks at the moment, and whilst the fee may be a large one, it would certainly be worthwhile in the long run.
