Loads of Tottenham fans have been remembering an iconic goal from Harry Kane after the club’s official account posted footage of former Spurs star Paul Gascoigne celebrating in an unusual fashion.
Gascoigne was caught on camera recreating the floss dance from Fortnite, a viral video game that has captured the imagination of fans around the world (Express).
The former England international watched from a corporate box at Wembley Stadium as Spurs fought back from 3-1 down to overcome Leicester on the final day of the 2017/18 Premier League season.
Kane scored the crucial match-winner just after Jamie Vardy had drawn the game level, curling in a sensational effort from the edge of the box, ensuring Mauricio Pochettino’s side finished the season in third place in the Premier League. His 76th-minute strike was his second goal of the game, as he levelled against the Foxes earlier on in the match (BBC).
Unsurprisingly, many of the Lilywhites faithful gushed over the “great” clip, with several fans dubbing Gascoigne a “legend” and another calling Kane a “beautiful man”.
