The Tottenham attacker scored the winner as his side ground out a 2-1 victory after they went down to 10 men after just 30 minutes. Serge Aurier was sent off for a second yellow card after bringing down Ryan Bertrand. [via Sky Sports]
Spurs were 1-0 ahead at the time thanks to a goal from Tanguy Ndombele, but the Saints were soon level after an absolute shocker from Hugo Lloris, where the Frenchman fluffed his lines trying to dribble out of his own six-yard box before the ball was tackled into his net by Danny Ings. Kane’s classy finish before half-time put the home side ahead, and he put in a leader’s performance in the second half to make sure his side secured all three points.
