Erik Lamela has made a cracking start to life in the Premier League in the 2019/20 season. The Argentine has started both of the club’s games against Aston Villa and Manchester City and has so far provided both a goal and an assist.

Whether or not he can keep his form up and continue to shine is yet to be seen, but after years of injury woes and inconsistency, a lot of the fans below are starting to believe, as you can see below, that should Lamela stay fit then it could be his time to step up in a Tottenham shirt.
Whether or not that happens to come to fruition is yet to be seen, but there’s a long way to go for Lamela. Last season also saw him start with a bang as he scored against West Ham, Barcelona, Watford and Liverpool but failed to have a great impact towards the end of the season.
