Even just the small hint of some sort of signing is enough to get your average Tottenham fan excited. Yesterday, despite the 3-1 home loss to Wolves, the Lilywhites were excited to hear that Hamburg striker, Jann-Fiete Arp was in attendance, and with the 18-year-old being an exciting prospect in the 2.Bundesliga, you can understand their excitement.

The signing of the young German front man would make sense. Not only is he supposedly a big Tottenham fan, but with the Lilywhites greatly lacking a striker who can successfully deputise for Harry Kane, even if they have got the likes of Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son who are no strangers to playing up front.
In the last few years, Mauricio Pochettino has tried the likes of Vincent Janssen and Fernando Llorente as his men to step in for Kane, and whilst they’re both still at the club, neither look to have great futures in North London. That’s where the new young German could fit in perfectly, he would be the replacement for Llorente in the current squad, and at such a young age he has the potential to grow into a top striker.

I am sure he enjoyed Wolves victory because we wont be spending anything in January so must be Wolves target.

The Tottenham fans have no faith in signing anyone in January, and it doesn’t help when potential targets come to see them play just for home losses.
