This Christmas has been a superb one for Tottenham fans. Now only have they smashed in 11 goals in their last two games, but because Manchester City have lost to Palace and Leicester, the Lilywhites are 2nd. One man, in particular, helped them get three points to rise to 2nd yesterday, and it was the sublime Kyle Walker-Peters.

Kyle Walker-Peters always manages to impress when he starts ar right-back in the Premier League. The young defender who came through Tottenham’s academy won his 3rd man of the match award yesterday after an awe-inspiring performance saw him rattle in three assists inside the opening 35 minutes, and that put Mauricio Pochettino’s side on their way to a comfortable 5-0 win.
Tottenham fans will be elated with the win, and whilst they may not be quite as happy as Liverpool fans are, they’re still over the moon at the fact that they’ve usurped Manchester City and come into 2nd, despite the fact many fans were touting the Premier League champions as the definitive winners this year. However, if Walker-Peters can keep firing and Tottenham can keep banging in the goals, then they could well be the team that lifts the Premier League in May.
