Loyalty in football truly is a rarity in today’s day and age. With the way that agents go behind players and clubs backs to get money and the money involved in the game now, one club men are truly rare. However, Spurs fans have hopes of Harry Kane proving his loyalty, despite Teddy Sheringham’s recent comments on the BBC.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker, and the club’s second top goalscorer in the Premier League behind only Harry Kane himself, has claimed that if Kane is to stay at the club then they will have to start winning trophies. The Lilywhites have come up short in their hunt for silverware so far, and Sheringham believes that if they aren’t successful soon then Kane could well be on his way.
These comments from an ex-Spurs player have gone down, as you can imagine, like a lead balloon with the majority of the supporters. They don’t believe that Kane has to go anywhere and are keen to see him show his loyalty to them in the hope that success will come in time. Either way, the thought of Kane leaving is a grim one and the Lilywhites want to see less of this drivel from ex-players like Sheringham.
