Tottenham fans have been struggling with a huge amount of injuries this season. The Lilywhites have had to contend with a shocking number of setbacks, with Harry Kane and Dele Alli currently out. However, The Sun have claimed that Harry Kane could be rushed back to face Borussia Dortmund next week, something the Spurs fans don’t want to see.

As much as Tottenham fans want to have their star man back and playing, they don’t want to rush his return. If Kane comes back from his layoff, plays two or three games and then finds himself out for the rest of the season it would leave them fuming. They’d much rather let Kane recover in his own time with no set date than to try and rush him back and risk him getting injured even further.
Kane’s record for Spurs is nothing short of outstanding. Whenever he plays he always seems to score and when he’s not in the side the burden of replacing his goals is often too much for any individual player, even if Heung-Min Son is doing his utmost at the moment. Getting the England captain back should be priority number one for Mauricio Pochettino, though, and he’ll know how detrimental it could be in the long-term if Kane’s pushed back too early.

The Lilywhites can’t wait for Kane’s return but they’re also desperate not to rush him back and would happily let him sit out the Dortmund clash at Wembley if it means he’s there for the second-leg.
