Writing on Twitter, Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that young attacker Shilow Tracey has completed his loan move to League Two side Cambridge United for the rest of the season – coming after he spent the first half of this campaign on a temporary spell at Shrewsbury Town.
The winger, on his spell in Shropshire before returning to north London, managed four goals in 12 appearances for the Shrews (Transfermarkt) – but he wasn’t in the squad consistently and only started a meagre two league games (football.london).

Tottenham confirm another stint out for Tracey
Upon coming back to Tottenham, the Lilywhites and chairman Daniel Levy have wasted no time in finding another temporary suitor for the 22-year-old – with the club’s official account confirming that he will link up with Cambridge United ‘until the end of the season‘.
Since putting pen to paper on a move to the club in 2016 from Ebbsfleet United, Tracey has never made a first team appearance – coming after he impressed during a trial at Enfield HQ which prompted his signing half a decade ago (The Daily Mail).

The attacker has now been sent out on loan again in a bid to further his development, and he will be hoping for more opportunities having yet to be seen in a first-team shirt at Tottenham.
Brought in during Mauricio Pochettino’s tenure at Spurs, who has a great track record of nurturing youngsters, it’s unclear what his future could hold under his successor Jose Mourinho – but only time will tell.
