According to a report from the Daily Mail, via football.london, Tottenham have the chance to land Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz in January as the Galacticos plan to let him go out on loan – with Daniel Levy touted as one of the interested parties.
Diaz, who has been largely snubbed by Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane this season, playing just 99 minutes of La Liga action, did manage to grab a goal this weekend despite the severe lack of appearances.

Diaz attracts interest
Now, as per this report, Diaz is set to be offered out on loan as the 27-year-old seeks further game time – especially with the postponed Euro 2020 Championships around the corner next year.
He will be looking to work his way into the Spain squad, and with the stiff competition, it appears Diaz will need a loan spell away from the capital if he is to be in with a chance.
Tottenham are said to be one of the teams keeping an eye on his situation, even despite Levy managing to land Benfica loanee Carlos Vinicius in the summer.

The ‘powerful‘ centre-forward, valued at just £10.8 million by Transfermarkt, could be an asset who may well strengthen Jose Mourinho’s title bid further mid-way through a congested season.
Described as a would-be ‘great coup‘, former Lilywhites boss Mauricio Pochettino was also a huge admirer according to a past update on Spanish television channel El Chiringuito de Jugones, via okdiario.com.
