Ryan Sessegnon thumped West Ham fan Spencer Owen 3-1 in the ePremier League FIFA 20 Invitational to progress to the next round of the tournament.
The Tottenham full-back joins the likes of England cricketer Jofra Archer and Burnley’s Charlie Taylor in the next phase of the competition

Owen, a popular YouTuber with nearly 2m subscribers, was tipped as one of the early favourites due to his experience with eSports, and dominated possession throughout the game, although Sessegnon opened the scoring with a cool finish from Spurs striker Harry Kane (BBC).
The social media influencer equalised through Manuel Lanzini, before the youngster capitalised on a shocking mistake to retake the lead. Owen tried to up the ante, but the damage was already done, and the 19-year-old added a third goal for good measure after Son Heung-min tapped home.

Sessegnon now faces Norwich City defender Max Aarons on Thursday.
Understandably, loads of Lilywhites are buzzing over the teenager’s victory in the ePL, with one fan tweeting “you love to see it,” and another adding the win was “never in doubt.”
