Jose Mourinho has revealed he is thinking about winning a fourth Premier League title with Tottenham Hotspur, via Sky Sports.
Mourinho opened up in an exclusive interview with the Football Daily show, where he talked about a number of subjects, including providing updates on stars Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko and Steven Bergwijn, talking about how he is helping out with the pandemic, and his ambitions with the Lilywhites.
The 57-year-old told Sky Sports News reporter Gary Cotterill: “I prefer to think that I’m going to have a fourth Premier League trophy. I have three, I prefer to think I’ll have four.”
Before he even arrived in England, the Portuguese had already established himself as one of the top coaches in the world, lifting the coveted Champions League trophy with FC Porto all the way back in 2004. Mourinho has managed several European giants, including the likes of Real Madrid and Inter Milan, leading the Los Blancos to the La Liga title in 2012, as well as winning the English top flight three times with bitter London rivals Chelsea.
Evidently, the Spurs boss still harbours big ambitions, although it remains to be seen if Daniel Levy can give him the funding he will no doubt require as he looks to rebuild the squad.
Loads of supporters are fuming after @HotspurRelated posted the video on social media and seemingly not as optimistic about their title chances under the Portuguese. One fan dismissed Mourinho’s comments by saying “gone by Xmas,” and another added he has the worst win percentage “since [Juande] Ramos.”
