Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to praise Troy Parrott after his brace for Republic of Ireland U21s.

Spurs fans are buzzing after seeing one of their own bag three times on international duty this week, and Mauricio Pochettino would have surely witnessed the youngster net for his country with a big smile.
The Argentine is a big fan of the 17-year-old, who is already playing ahead of his age group for the U21s of Ireland, according to Football.London. Pochettino clearly has a proven track record of helping create some of English football’s finest talent, with Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Harry Winks just a few who have blossomed under his leadership.
Parrott also bagged on his debut for Ireland’s U21s against Armenia, which ended up being the game’s winning goal. And now, Spurs fans are adamant they have quite the player on their hands.
With Spurs visiting Colchester United in the Carabao Cup later this month, perhaps they could get to see more of him, too.
So, here’s what the fans have had to say…
What a player. #COYS

Wow! That’s outrageous for such a young lad! I’d be bothering @SpursOfficial to sign him up, if he didn’t already play for us #COYS
