Many Tottenham Hotspur fans were left delighted after Harry Kane posted a video on his official Twitter account which gave an update on his rehabilitation.
The Spurs striker ruptured his left hamstring in a 1-0 defeat against Southampton on New Year’s Day and the club confirmed that he is likely to be missing until at least April (tottenhamhotspur.com).
There are even concerns that he will not be back to full fitness in time for the Euro 2020 campaign in the summer, with leading surgeon Chris Wilson suggesting that he could miss the tournament (FourFourTwo).
It seems the England captain’s recovery is going well, though, with the video showing him exercising the left hamstring with a resistance band alongside a caption which read: “Working hard. Making progress.”
Kane is an extremely important player for Spurs having scored a ridiculous 181 goals in 278 appearances for the club, 17 of which have come this season (Transfermarkt). So it is no surprise that plenty of their fans were absolutely delighted to see that the 26-year-old is making good progress on his comeback from injury.
Indeed several supporters took to Twitter to react to Kane’s video, here is what some had to say…
This is beautiful.
