Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is set to consider his future at the club in the summer, that is according to a report from The Telegraph.
The club will have to convince the England captain that he does not need to leave north London to take his career to the next level, which could be a challenge if they fail to win silverware this season or qualify for next year’s Champions League.
Kane has been outstanding since bursting onto the scene at Spurs. Indeed in 278 appearances in all competitions for the club, he has scored a ridiculous 181 goals, whilst also chipping in with 30 assists (Transfermarkt) so losing him would be a huge blow.
He has also won two Premier League Golden Boot awards, but for all the personal glory he is still to win any trophies with Spurs (Transfermarkt) and with him now being 26-years-old he may see this as the time to move on for a better chance at winning things.
Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to the report suggesting Kane could leave in the summer. Some have suggested that they would be gutted to see him go, whilst others have admitted that they wouldn’t blame him at all and one even said it was ’embarrassing’.
