Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Borussia Monchengladbach striker Alassane Plea, according to Bild via @RickSpur.
Plea has been scouted by a number of top Premier League clubs, including bitter rivals Arsenal, as he could be available for roughly €40m in the summer.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Gladbach are facing growing economic uncertainty, and the German side may be forced to sell the forward to alleviate financial pressures in the upcoming transfer window.

Ever since he arrived at the Borussia-Park from OGC Nice for £20.7m in July 2018, the Frenchman has become a key component of Marco Rose’s squad, and he has scored 9 goals and created 7 assists in 23 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, taking 2.9 shots per game, averaging 1.4 key passes, and successfully completing 1.8 dribbles on average (via WhoScored).
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is keen to ease some of the burden on Harry Kane and backroom staff have been keeping tabs on the 27-year-old, who scored after just 37 seconds over the weekend.

Football reporter Ricky Sacks shared the news on social media, writing: “Tottenham Hotspur are closely monitoring Borussia Monchengladbach striker Alassane Plea ahead of a summer move. The 27-year-old scored after just 37 seconds in the weekend for the Bundesliga side, aswell as providing 9 goals and 7 assists this season.”
