Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn to face RB Leipzig in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League (@SpursOfficial).
Jose Mourinho’s side finished as runners-up in Group B behind Bayern Munich (BBC Sport), meaning that had to face a group winner in the next round.

They have avoided facing some of European football’s powerhouse clubs such as Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain or Juventus, but that does not that mean that Leipzig will be an easy tie.
Indeed, the German outfit are enjoying an excellent season so far and currently top the Bundesliga, two points ahead of second-placed Borussia Monchengladbach and six ahead of Bayern Munich (BBC Sport).
They have some very dangerous players including striker Timo Werner, who has scored 21 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions this season (Transfermarkt).
However, it seems that most Spurs fans are delighted with the draw, particularly as it means they have avoided some of the more traditional big names in Europe.
