Tottenham Hotspur are tracking AFC Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser ahead of the summer transfer window, that is according to a report from 90min.
It is suggested that Spurs, Everton and Arsenal are all monitoring the 26-year-old, who hasn’t signed a new deal with the Cherries and looks set to become a free agent at the end of the season when his current contract expires (Transfermarkt).
Fraser enjoyed an outstanding 2018/19 campaign in the Premier League when he netted seven goals and provided 14 assists in 38 appearances (Transfermarkt). However, this season he hasn’t quite been at the same level, managing just one goal and four assists in the league (Transfermarkt) – perhaps due to the speculation about his future.
Signing a player of Fraser’s quality on a free transfer would surely be great business for most clubs in the top flight, given the numbers he racked up last season.
Many Spurs fans have been reacting to the link to Fraser, with some suggesting that the transfer would suit Daniel Levy as he wouldn’t have to pay a fee for the 11-time Scottish international. Here is what some had to say on Twitter…
Out of contract …. that’s levy’s favourite price

Typical Levy trying to get someone for nothing

Would be great if we get him for free. Especially if we don’t have UCL money

On a free this would be some sexy business
