Tottenham talisman Harry Kane has shared his thoughts on the news that the Premier League will return next month. Predictably, plenty of fans have been discussing his four word tweet.
Kane tweeted a photo of himself celebrating at the Hotspur Way training ground, with the simple caption “football is back soon,” signing off with a flexed biceps emoji.

Earlier this week it was announced football will resume in June as there are 92 matches still to play to finish the season (BBC).
The England international is the club’s leading goalscorer this season, and he has scored 11 goals in just 20 games in the English top flight for Jose Mourinho’s side at the time of writing.
Mourinho’s men are currently eighth in the table, a point clear of Arsenal, and seven points behind London rivals Chelsea.
Who is the best striker in Tottenham Hotspur's history?
Harry Kane
Gary Lineker
Jurgen Klinsmann
After recovering from a hamstring injury, the Spurs ace will no doubt be looking to make an immediate impact and lift Tottenham into the Champions League qualification places.
He has previously made it clear he wants to win trophies, even if that means a move away from North London in the future, amid growing interest from Manchester United.
However, Daniel Levy has moved swiftly to dismiss any potential offers with a staggering £200m price tag on the World Cup Golden Boot winner.
Spurs fans will no doubt be hoping Kane can rediscover his fine form ahead of a busy schedule.
