With Hugo Lloris out for the rest of 2019, as reported by BBC Sport, Paulo Gazzaniga will likely be between the sticks for Tottenham Hotspur during that time.
The 27-year-old old has come out and insisted that he is ready to step up in the club captain’s absence, when speaking to Spurs’ official channels:
“It’s about having the right mentality and being focussed, starting against Watford.”@GazzanigaPaulo on why he’s ready for his longest stint in the team.#THFC #COYS

While there are some fans who are sceptical about the thought of having the Argentinian in goal for such a long period, there are many who have come out to back him, offering plenty of encouragement.
He has played three games this season – the loss against Leicester City, Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester United and loss at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion – conceding a total of four goals, keeping one clean sheet, as per Transfermarkt.
