In a big blow for Spurs, especially considering how crucial the 27-year-old is to Tottenham, Kane looks likely to be absent for the next few fixtures as Bruce-Ball shares Mourinho’s estimate on Twitter.
Transfer Tavern take
According to WhoScored, Kane has managed the most shots on goal per 90 out of any Spurs player in the league this season by some way (3.6) – averaging nearly double Heung-min Son’s amount in the Premier League (1.9).
Judging by the numbers, as well as the fact Kane has bagged 12 goals and 11 assists this season by himself, Tottenham having to cope without him for weeks comes as a huge setback for the Lilywhites’ potential title charge.
