It might only be November, but a top-four finish is starting to look like a long shot for Tottenham this season.
Spurs midfielder Moussa Sissoko still now believes that Tottenham Hotspur can finish in the Premier League’s top four:
“It will now not be easy but we know we have the qualities to do it and we will try to catch the teams in front of us.”#THFC #COYShttps://t.co/RJ0o7h8XkP

The north London club currently finds themselves 14th in the Premier League table after 12 games (per the Premier League’s official website), with Spurs claiming just three wins all season.
With Tottenham currently 11 points off the top-four and facing a difficult run of fixtures that includes the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Wolves (per BBC Sport), a Champions League finish could well be out of reach for Spurs this season.

Yet Moussa Sissoko, speaking to the Telegraph, believes that Spurs still have what it takes to claim a top-four finish, a response which was met with puzzled replies from Tottenham supporters on social media who didn’t share the same optimism as the 30-year-old midfielder.
Here’s what some Tottenham fans had to say about Sissoko’s words of encouragement, with a few supporters not convinced by what the former Newcastle midfielder had to say…
It’s impossible we won only 3 games out of 12, we ar too far

Not a chance, with only 3 league wins up too now I can’t see it happening.
