Many Tottenham Hotspur fans were left frustrated by their 2-2 draw with Olympiacos in their opening Champions League game of the season, especially after they had gone 2-0 up.
Speaking after the game, Mauricio Pochettino remained optimistic about his side’s chances of progressing through the group stages, but did question aspects of the team’s play, such as the number of chances they have been conceding:

However, the main thing many Spurs fans were questioning in the comments was the man himself, as they felt Pochettino had made various decisions which contributed to the result not being the win they wanted.
The biggest criticism the manager faced was that he had left Serge Aurier back in London, using Davinson Sanchez to fill the right-back slot – a decision which comes despite many fans having called for Aurier to be Man of the Match against Crystal Palace.
Some supporters have even suggested that the players don’t listen to him and that the Argentinian should be sacked.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the interview, including posts from frustrated Spurs fans, can be seen below:

Two star players were swapped out from the Crystal match and you’re surprised that you didn’t get the same result?. Understand Sonny being rested but, leaving Aurier in London was just a manager’s ego vs the good for the team. Can’t blame Sanchez. Manager’s fault 100%.

You need to get ur act on track the team is playing boring football /kak/no nead to rotate at the moment. You not giving the players time to build on there performance.

Sanchez as RB, Lucas as RW at the same time What were you thinking, Poch? Given up attacking or defending on that side?

How can you be aggressive if your wingbacks couldn’t give any attacking threat at all?!?! There’s nothing wrong with the quality but it won’t work at all if you put them in the wrong place.

Sounds to me like the players aren’t listening to his demands any more.
