Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are reflecting on what proved to be a very busy Deadline Day for their club.
The men from north London did not have the best market in the world up to the final few days but they did at least manage to sign the likes of Fernando Llorente before the deadline to have something to show for their efforts.
Indeed, in Llorente they have signed a proven Premier League and European forward and even if he doesn’t play week in, week out, he’s going to offer something to the team when he does get on.
For sure, then, he’ll be excited to get started and after taking to Twitter recently to post about being a Tottenham player, fans certainly reacted to him.
