Tottenham Player Ratings!

Tottenham, Tottenham Tottenham.

It was a funny game in part. two own goals in one match may not be a record but it sure is uncommon. Tottenham were largely free flowing and had a plan. Bolton were invigorated by their substitutions but the respite was fleeting as they are fundamentally rubbish.

Gomes 7 A couple of cracking saves from Eddie Grant late on.

Assou Ekotto 6 Really good when not losing posession.

Dawson 7 Almost quite nearly awesome.

Bassong  7¼ Much improved. More composed. Sexy time shot.

Bale 9 Extraordinary. Again. Makes so much from quite often very little.

Bentley 6 Began slowly, went quiet midway through then fizzled out.

Huddlestone 6½ Some devine touches and some not so.

Modric 8¾ This is our Champions League player. Say hello everyone.

Wilson 6¾ Kept fading in and out. Suspect passes R Us.

Kranjcar 7¼ Exciting is how I’d describe him.

Pavyluchenko 9 He’s a treasure, he’s a find, he’s a man, he’s, he’s a poppet.

Defoe 7½ I like my strikers greedy. Not sure if I like’em that greedy.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
