Fear is painted across the faces of the chirpy Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern these days, considering the soon to be vacant managerial post at Barcelona.
As you can imagine, Spurs chief Mauricio Pochettino has been touted as a potential option for the Blaugrana as they look to embark on a new era without Luis Enrique, considering his strong work with the Lilywhites over the last few years.
The darling of north London, Pochettino is a hugely popular figure on Hotspur Way for his creating of a wonderfully vibrant young squad, so reports from Italian TMW suggesting top brass in Enfield are reportedly starting to look around for potential replacements haven’t gone down overly well.
The likes of former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini, Juventus coach Max Allegri, Roma chief Luca Spalletti and Maurizio Sarri of Napoli are understood to be on their list should the Argentine move back to Spain.
Though some of the aforementioned names would no doubt be interesting options for Spurs, our drinkers just hope Pochettino stays.
