Tottenham smashed their transfer record on bringing midfielder Tanguy Ndombele to north London this summer.
The former Lyon man cost Spurs €60m (£53.8m) and began life in the Premier League promisingly after scoring on his competitive debut during the club’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa last month.
Ndombele played 90 minutes for Mauricio Pochettino’s men against Manchester City a week later – a game the Lilywhites drew 2-2 – but is yet to make his third appearance for the club after picking up a thigh injury in training.
The Frenchman was absent for Spurs’ games against Newcastle and Arsenal, but is in line to return for the visit of Crystal Palace this weekend, according to talkSPORT.
Tottenham’s official Twitter account announced that Ndombele – among others – had returned to training and is currently being assessed for selection ahead of this weekend’s Premier League show down at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
