Tottenham Hotspur will host Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night as the two sides meet at Wembley Stadium in their Champions League encounter.
The Premier League outfit will be looking to take an advantage in the first leg before heading to Germany to try and progress into the next stage of the competition.
And, it appears Mauricio Pochettino has been handed a timely boost ahead of the encounter.
According to the club’s official website, both Eric Dier and Erik Lamela are fit and available after both missed the win against Leicester City at the weekend.
The England international has been suffering from a virus, whilst the Argentine winger had been out on the sidelines with a back problem.
Danny Rose could be fit enough to be a part of the matchday squad, although Pochettino has revealed he will not be able to start the game.
“For tomorrow it’s impossible to start from the beginning,” he said.
“Tomorrow morning we are going to assess if he can be on the bench and if it’s possible to help the team if we need him but for the starting XI, as of today, he’s not available.”
Vincent Janssen remains ineligible, whilst Dele Alli, Ben Davies and Harry Kane all remain unavailable through injury.
The Verdict:

The news that both Lamela and Dier are available will come as a potentially huge boost to Tottenham and Pochettino ahead of the game with Dortmund.
Spurs will want to ensure they come away from the first-leg with a positive result and are able to take something to Germany to compete with.
With Lamela and Dier both available, it gives them more options to choose from, especially considering the injuries they are already having to deal with in the squad.
