According to reliable journalist David Ornstein of the Athletic, Tottenham star and fan favourite Dele Alli ‘wants to leave‘ in January – with this huge update coming amid claims the Lilywhites may not make a signing until certain surplus-to-requirement figures are offloaded.
Alli, who has been heavily touted with a move away in January over the last month, is now looking more likely than ever to depart Tottenham on either a loan or permanent deal in the winter window.

Ornstein drops three-word Alli reveal
The England international has barely featured under manager Jose Mourinho this season, despite his ability, with both Giovani Lo Celso and the reborn Tanguy Ndombele preferred behind Harry Kane in the number 10 role.
Playing just 75 minutes of Premier League action in total, Ornstein has now revealed on Twitter that the attacking ace ‘wants to leave’ – with this three-word message detailing the player’s stance as exit claims heat up.
Transfer Tavern take
Euro 2020, postponed due to coronavirus, looms just around the corner next year – and Alli may have to secure a move away if he is to work his way back into Gareth Southgate’s plans for England.
The Galacticos were reportedly offered Alli as part of the deal to bring back Gareth Bale, but they seemed to have turned it down.
It remains to be seen where the 24-year-old could end up, or if he even gets his move atoll, but Ornstein has made the 6 foot 2 star’s stance crystal clear in this January update.
