Now, ESPN reporter Vickery has hinted that this move ‘could go through‘ – with Mourinho ‘certainly interested‘ whilst saying these reports come from the Portuguese press who have good contacts when it comes to the Lilywhites gaffer.

Dropping this enticing transfer hint, the journalist has implored on-lookers to ‘watch this space‘ as a deal for Militao is certainly possible this window.

As this ‘very interesting’ potential Militao to Spurs development emerges, as described by Sky Sports, Lilywhites supporters could hold a glimmer of hope in bringing a signing through the door in January.

Transfer Tavern take

Whist the winter window isn’t traditionally busy for Tottenham, Daniel Levy did secure Steven Bergwijn last year and the likes of Lucas Moura during in previous Januaries – so you cannot exactly rule out a deal happening this month.
