According to a newspaper report by Spanish outlet Sport, via Sport Witness, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks ‘will insist‘ on a move away from Spurs to La Liga in the summer – with manager Jose Mourinho facing the possibility of losing a player he refused to sell in January.
Indeed, despite the England international’s lack of game time, a scenario he admitted to be ‘difficult’ at the back end of last year (Sky Sports), Mourinho was adamant he is a player Tottenham ‘need’ and ‘don’t want to sell’ (Evening Standard).

However, adding to speculation he could leave in the summer, Sport have now claimed that Winks himself ‘will insist’ on joining a top La Liga side – citing him as one of the players who could want a dream move to Spain.
The 25-year-old has started just six Premier League games since the start of the campaign, with Mourinho utilising him far more in the Europa League group stages (WhoScored).

He called the ace a ‘fantastic player’ who would ‘step into any team’ despite not featuring much over 2020/2021 – and Sport now claim he will push for a summer exit to a top Spanish side.
