Speaking to Sky Sports, via Football Daily, journalist and transfer insider Kaveh Solhekol said that he is ‘expecting’ Paris-Saint Germain to ‘make a move’ to sign Tottenham Hotspur ace Dele Alli on loan before the end of the January transfer window – going on to say it is a development to watch ‘very closely’.
Alli has been reduced to rare first team cameos since the start of the 2020/2021 Premier League season, with the Englishman being handed just 75 minutes of Premier League football in total so far (WhoScored).

This has resulted in the midfielder being heavily linked with a move away this window, with PSG touted as the favourites for his signature considering Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment.
Reliable sources like Fabrizio Romano have shared recent updates that Alli is ‘still pushing’ for a move to the Ligue 1 giants (Twitter), and now transfer journalist Solhekol has joined in to offer his information.
Speaking to Sky, Solhekol revealed that he is ‘expecting’ Pochettino’s side to ‘make a move’ – going on to say this development is one to watch ‘very closely’.
Transfer Tavern take
The journalist explains that Alli’s situation at Spurs cannot go on and that he ‘needs to play’ – especially considering the postponed Euro 2020 looms around the corner.
Alli will be hoping to get re-called by national team boss Gareth Southgate, but he cannot earn the manager’s favour if he remains an outcast at Spurs.
Time will tell whether Daniel Levy allows the 24-year-old to leave north London this month, but it could certainly be interesting.
