The inner angst of Tottenham’s Jamie O’Hara has been revealed on Twitter. BBC commentator Jacqui Oatley’s Tweets have lifted the lid on the Spurs player’s discontent.
Jamie is obviously on loan at troubled Portsmouth. Anyone who managed to survive watching their game yesterday will at least acknowledge he was the backbone of the bulk of their moves. The Tweets won’t come as an earth shattering shocker to many. The Tottenham manager is well known for having players he likes and players he, shall we say, likes less.
Tottenham’s Bentley and Pavyluchenko to name but two are players who could barely make the bench on numerous occasions for supposed ‘attitude’ issues. What is interesting here is that of all the spurious question marks that may have been directed at Bentley and indeed the Russian – who’s manager at Spartak suggested he went off the boil in training – I have yet to hear anyone question anything about O’Hara’s desire. Just ask Danielle.
To Spurs fans asking about O’Hara, he gave me impression of being very frustrated there. Said he’s treated like “youth or reserve player”.
O’Hara also spoke of how hard it is trying to make progress in Premiership as young English player.
