Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst is now plotting to bring teeange striker Josh Stones to Ibrox.
The Lowdown: Big prospect
Playing at National League North club Guiseley, Stones is certainly a hot prospect, so much so that he has attracted interest from a number of teams in the English Premier League, as well as from the Championship and League One.
He was scoring goals for fun earlier this season, and has even impressed at youth level for England, where manager of the U18 Schoolboys Richy Alderson noted his ‘excellent‘ performance after scoring in a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace Academy in February.
The Latest: Ibrox chiefs impressed
As per Football Insider, van Bronckhorst has now set sights on bringing Stones to Ibrox, and a source from the club has revealed that they are ‘closely monitoring’ the striker.

According to the report, Teddy Bears chiefs have been to his games on recent scouting trips, leaving impressed by how he has coped with playing senior football, but they also face competition from both Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic for his signature.
The Verdict: Rangers planning for the future
Stones is certainly one for the future, and the Light Blues will do well to persuade him to play his football in Scotland.
At just 18 years of age, he clearly has a lot of potential, and could thrive in Glasgow learning off the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe.
Nonetheless, with interest seemingly heating up, this is a deal that the Gers need to get wrapped up as soon as possible.
