Many Manchester United fans have been left buzzing over some transfer news on Phil Jones.
As per The Daily Mail, the central defender is a potential loan target for Benfica in the January transfer window.
The Portuguese outfit are looking to bring in a versatile defender, and given that Jones can play in a number of different positions, he certainly fits the bill.

The 29-year-old has not played at all for the senior team so far this season, and in truth the Old Trafford faithful already have sufficient cover at centre-back, despite injuries to both Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof at the moment.
Nonetheless, the club could get at least get some of his £110,000-per-week wages off of their books, and potentially look to reinvest that money in the window next month.
