The season so far has seen a number of players step up. Everton’s new big money man Richarlison has been in fine form, scoring six Premier League goals and even scoring his first international goals playing as Brazil’s #9. Meanwhile, Eden Hazard has been doing what Eden Hazard does and has scored seven in 11 in the Premier League as he adapts to life under Maurizio Sarri.
RICHARLISON DE ANDRADE
Starting with Marco Silva’s Everton man. No one quite expected Richarlison to have the impact he’s having. The Brazilian scored five goals for Watford last season, all of them coming before December. This season, though, after Everton agreed a huge financial deal that could see Watford make £50 million from the Brazilian, The Toffees have already seen the 21-year-old bag six goals as he makes the move from a nippy winger to a prolific striker.
Silva’s masterstroke has been turning the Brazilian into a #9 and it looks like Brazil are also benefitting from the move as Richarlison has scored twice in four caps for his country that he’s received on the back fo his form at Goodison Park. If the Everton man keeps going on his current upward trajectory then it would be no surprise to see a move to a European super club on the cards in a few years, much like Eden Hazard is constantly touted with.

EDEN HAZARD
Meanwhile, down south in London, Chelsea’s 27-year-old main man is showing everyone what he can do. His hat-trick against Cardiff really announced the Belgian onto the scene for the 2018/19 season and it looks like the Chelsea man is hell-bent on finally getting his Real Madrid move as he tears up the Premier League, with seven goals already in just 11 games, despite being deployed out wide under Sarri.
As per usual, Hazard is always being mentioned as the one to watch when Chelsea play and whilst the Blues have had the misfortune of watching Alvaro Morata start up front for them, the Spaniard helps Hazard’s game by creating space for him to run into and wreak havoc in. The rest of the season will be key for Hazard as he’ll need to keep up his goalscoring form and bag 20+ if he is serious about wanting a move to Real Madrid.

TT VERDICT
All the talk around Hazard to Real Madrid has been going on for a while, but if Los Blancos take their time and assess their options it could be Richarlison who makes more sense to sign. The Brazilian can play on the wing and as a striker, he’s six years younger than his Chelsea counterpart and in less than two years he’s gone from being an unknown to being a Premier League star, so given how far he could possibly go, he’s the winner of this battle.
