Liverpool are still without a single Premier League title and remain without a top flight winners medal since 1990, with the Reds approaching 30 years of league title heartache.

The Reds and their fans, many of whom have been here in the Tavern this week, are simply desperate to get that league title under their belt, and came agonisingly closet a few seasons back when Luis Suarez inspired the Anfield club to a second placed finish.

However, with Jurgen Klopp at the helm, things have been on the up overall for the Merseysiders, and next season we could finally see Liverpool climb to the summit of the mountain and have their moment.

Our landlord has been wracking his brains this week thinking of what the club need to do to ensure they are successful, and he’s come up with a few things.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at TWO reasons why Liverpool can bounce back and win the Premier League title next season…

The arrival of Naby Keita

This January saw the Reds sell off star player Philippe Coutinho, and they have invested the money wisely in the signing of defender Virgil Van Dijk.

However, it was the summer signing of Red Bull Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita which really got the tongues wagging at Anfield, with the energetic Guinean set to join up with his new Anfield teammates this summer.

The midfielder is a dynamic performer, and despite not being quite at his best for the Bundesliga club this term, he has still shown flashes of brilliance, brilliance which convinced Klopp and his board to spend around £70m on him last year.

Keita could be the difference maker for Liverpool next season, and has the potential to drive the Reds to Premier League glory.

Blossoming young players

Liverpool at the moment have an excellent crop of young talent available, and if Klopp can get them performing next year, they could be a real threat.

The likes of Dom Solanke, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Joe Gomez are all already seasoned squad members and will get better, while the likes of Ben Woodburn and England starlet Rhian Brewster remain top talents.

With the right balance of experience around them, these young players could form the core of what could prove to be a very successful period for the Reds.
