Despite injuries to the likes of Kemar Roofe, Patrick Bamford and Pablo Hernandez, Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United side managed to thump Preston North End 3-0 at Elland Road last night. Indeed, the Whites look ruthless at the top of the Championship, with no signs of slowing down.
One man who stepped up for the Yorkshire giants last night was Tyler Roberts. The Welsh international, who has had to bide his time for the club, bagged a brace to mark his claim as one of Leeds’ most potent forwards, little over a week after making his international debut.
Coming on for Gareth Bale for Ryan Giggs’ side against the Republic of Ireland, it’s been quite the journey for the 19-year-old of late. Now he’s proved himself as someone who can step in for Bielsa’s men, the sky is the limit for the former West Brom youngster.
With all that in mind, here’s a look at how Twitter reacted to Tyler Roberts’ performance last night.
